Well,
I had kind of a crisis in the autumn which made me busy. I don't know exactly with what though.
To make a long story short: Now I have to start living organized, which suddenly made it harder to get organized, because of the demands. Always these demands on myself. This blog should be called Jezzanddemands instead.
Only the thought of getting organized, not only in my house but even more in my head, makes me flee. I'm an excellent refugee. I am never bored. I can always find something else to do than the thing that actually has to be done. I even got cognitive behavioral therapy for it. But at the moment it doesn't help the least. I am even writing on my blog again instead of getting organized.
I am lying in my bed with fever and thinking of my life that actually isn't as bad as I sometimes feel it. And I am far from the only one with a crisis. Every person, every life has his/it's story.
In the mean time I will go on battling and I will try not to flee.
Love Jezz
Btw (by the way):max is doing great. He is almost walking. He has new signs. He put some together yesterday to say that he was thinking about the cat that we just had put outside. He waved. Then I said: "gone? Who is gone?" then he said: "kssss", which means cat.
He also made the sign for sleeping, while we were eating the other day, and then he pointed at our bedroom and then he shaked his head. He meant: daddy was sleeping there but not anymore. Then I responded with: "that's right. He is not sleeping anymore. He is training. He went away."
So cool to be communicating with him at this level. He really is a problem solver. Like any kid of course. But MINE is the sweetest! ;) he opened the drawer in the kitchen, climbed into it and was able to look at the sink (and at the knife which I was cutting meat with...).

Officially not a blog
Well, I really didn't manage updating every two weeks, even if I thought about it now and then.
I am in Copenhagen again (it's seems like I have a lot of time when I am here, but that is NOT the case. Today we will have lessons from 10 - 20.30. Yesterday we had a really nice concert together with another group that is here. Our group is called Mahogany and they are called Hazel (so we're both brownish :). I was singing "Strip me" from Natasha Bedingfield. So much fun!
Max has developed so much. He has different signs now: moving his finger up and down for "music" and "put on the music", clapping his hands for "singing" and "I want you to sing", pointing at the drawer where the matches are stored and saying /shh/ for "candle" and "light the candle". He points at the lamps, the window, the boat-kite that is in his room, etc. He can hold his mugg himself now and drink. He can climb onto the couch him self, read books himself ;) and he is starting to have favorites among his books. I miss him a lot actually when I am at work but after the holidays I will change jobs (at least for half a year) and start working 75% / 32 hours at a school for children with severe speech and/or language problems. It is called Språksam. Then MAYBE I have some more time to be with him.
Now for the pictures, I am sorry my computer is not doing the thing I want it to do, so you have to bow your head to the side... (irritating for a perfectionist like me!!)

Singing course in Copenhagen
Hi!
Yesterday I told my friend that I have a blog, that I update like once a month and then he said: "THEN it's not a blog!!" So then I decided I might update it twice a month instead! :)
I am staying in Copenhagen on my course "three year Complete Vocal Technique - Singer/Singing teacher" and even the sun has been shining for four days I don't regret being inside at all! It is so great to finally be able to learn everything I have wanted to do for 20 years!!
I am totally happy!
Love, Jezz

All these demands!! Al die eisen!! Alla dess krav!!
I have such high demands on myself that I don't even start. My blogpost has to be perfect, otherwise I can't write anything, which obviously results in ... NOTHING. And that is stupid. I have thought about this blog every (yes EVERY) week since April, and that I should put some photos on it at least, but the time just flew by and the more time disappeared, the more pictures I had to browse through, the more work it was going to be to get them on the blog!! It is hard to get the pictures in the right order and that made it even worse (because I want it to be perfect!). Then I thought about all the people that would start to not-look on this blog because I never updated it and you know ALL THAT!
So now I am just going to put all the pictures on it and you guys have to figure it out for youselves. At least .. this is an update!
By the way, I have started working again yesterday and well, it might just turn out fine. It is really nice for me to think about Pierre who is at home taking care of our sweety Max. He is just adorable (both Max and Pierre - haha). He is still always happy - except when he is hungry or tired - and he learns so many new things all the time, without us working for it (like the parents have to do at my job). It is just too much to name it! But here is just one example. Max knows what "waar zijn de kindjes" means. It started like this: Janneke (lees Jannekes leuke blog hier), Madelon and I painted a painting on my bachelorette party. There were a lot of pictures from me as a baby/child in it. One day I was feeding Max and he was just looking the other way all the time. So I wondered what it was he was looking at and it was the painting that I just had parked on the kitchen floor while we were cleaning the house. I took it up and he really loved the pictures of the baby. He looked at them, touched them, laughed at them and wanted to kiss them. When Mimi (my mom) came some weeks later he looked at it and then he looked at her. He was really showing her, didn't look at me at all!! So then Mimi put pictures of other children on the board in the kitchen and now we are looking at them when we are eating. I say: waar zijn de kindjes? and he instantly looks at all the kids on the board, including the ones on the painting that we parked behind him! I am SOOOO proud :)
Well, I will lower my demands (this is an ongoing process in my life) and put something on the blog now and then... even if it isn't perfect!
Love, Jezz
PS. This took me 4 hours....

PS. This took me 4 hours....
He is holding both his bear and his bottle, just to be sure! |
And I think he's going to be a writer, just like his dad! |
First time backwards, sitting kindof. |
With his friend Vincent at kindergarten. |
Joint attention!! |
H
If you can't use your hans, use your feet! |
In the beginning he wanted to hold something in his own bed. |
Look, he has two teeth (5 months). |
you get tired of all this watching everything! |
And you have to taste it all too (we all know how this tastes!). |
Bought a new stroller, in the RIGHT color! |
He followed with me to Copenhagen, we ate at a restaurant with the group. This is Elina. |
And this is Sherif! |
And this is Madelon, a friend of mom's and dad's. |
Having fun with his GREAT great grandma :) |
Remember this! The one and only time he wanted to have a napp/speen/?. |
Two angels, Amos and Max. |
having fun with Amos |
With his uncle and aunt. |
And his big niece Elvira. |
Elvira and I always take a picture like this when I am there. |
Ain't he sweet this little bear? |
Some say he resembles his father ;) actually everbody does. And even I see it on this picture... |
Madelon and Milco gave their son Mees (Mattis) a sheep. |
Look, I painted even these walls in this appartment! |
The cat really happy that he could use the window the whole time. |
My new friend Emma with Max' new friend Vincent. She's trying out my home made sling/bärsjal/draagdoek. Bought one herself too. |
She ate beschuit met muisjes, as the Dutch do when a baby is born! |
Eating something else than his food, for once :) lovely eyes. |
Oh, right, this was the other way he had his napp/speen. It didn't work as I wanted it too, hahahah. |
With his opa that came by a few days. |
I don't know if Max is going to like me for this ;) |
Eating, wants to hold everything himself... |
And on vacation Mimi learned him how to drink from a glass. |
An artistic picture of Juliët's birthday. |
It was quite exciting... |
Max learned how to play in the pen at Mimi's. Here he discovered a pocket with things in it. |
Mimi was really happy that we were there for 3 weeks (we were too). |
He's sitting on the potty here (now he doesn't) |
And he has aunt Stephanie's drop cloth! good one! |
Coming with mom and dad to Norrköping to see daddy jump. |
His new travel bed worked very well, and had the right color. |
Max going to work... |
...with a really heavy bag! |
His blue clothes makes his eyes look even bluer ;) |
Before taking a walk we had to put 20:- (€2,-) in this box... |
Daddy was jumping and Max was sleeping in his beautiful Mei Tai (mistermirko.be) |
And this beauty was standing 10 m away from us. |
...not scared at all! |
He's cool, my husband! |
one of our few family pictures...as good as it got... |
She was really happy that we took the trip all of us! |
Lots of blueberries just hanging there!! (and no people to pick them!) |
...really cool!! (and I make cool pictures! :-D) |
Max was 600m above sea level, in his own little world! |
totally happy with a little twig (kvist, takje) |
happy baby |
happy dad |
happy mom |
some OLD pantings of rein deers |
we climbed a wall |
It meant for me that I was getting my onw body back again. |
Max at his father's back. |
This guy was just running over the road. It was their land. |
Really high up on the plateau, nothing grows there anymore! |
Happy baby |
Maybe he is going to be a guitar player... |
Or maybe a fighter? |
